In a dazzling celebration of community and cinema, the city's much-anticipated Movie in the Park event illuminated the night sky, drawing families, friends, out of towners, and movie enthusiasts of all ages. The park was transformed into an enchanting outdoor theater, with blankets spread out under the stars and the scent of popcorn wafting through the air.

The event was not just about movies; it was a true festival of togetherness. We welcomed 24 local businesses/non-profits as booths with each organization having a fun games and candy for the public. A fun addition this year was free mechanical bull rides and a unique bubble house. Local food vendors: Lemon Grass, Mendoza's Shrimp Boil, Regios Tacos y Antojitos, and Heartland BBQ lined the perimeter, offering an array of delectable treats. The aroma of sizzling barbecue and freshly popped corn filled the air, tempting taste buds and adding to the carnival-like atmosphere.

From s'mores, popcorn, fun photo-ops, kid activities, candy, prizes, costume contest, bounce house, food trucks, Hocus Pocus 1, Chicken Express tea/water, and Kanar RV water, this year was one for the books! Another successful Movie in the Park event came to a close, leaving the city eagerly anticipating the next opportunity to gather, laugh, and be moved by the magic of cinema in the great outdoors.
