  • Yes, at the beginning of each Council meeting there is an opportunity for citizens to come before the council and speak on any topic that is not already on the agenda. Meetings are held at 6:00 pm on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month in the council room at City Hall, located at 960 Early Blvd.

  • Please contact City Hall at (325) 643-5451 for information and timeline for an item being put on the agenda for a scheduled Council meeting. Note: There is a 72-hour posting requirement for Council meeting agendas. Therefore any item or information will need to be submitted prior to the posting deadline. In most cases, information may be submitted by 5:00 pm on the Thursday before the scheduled meeting date.

  • To report a tip, please contact the Early Police Department at (325) 646-5322.

  • To report a crime that has already occurred within the City limits of Early, call 325-646-5322 (nights and weekends this number will roll over to dispatch). An officer will be dispatched to your location to investigate. This should be only crimes that have already occurred and there is no danger. To report an emergency call 911 immediately A true emergency is any fire, injury or illness, which endangers a person’s safety, or a crime in progress. An emergency is life threatening and requires immediate response from police, fire or medical personnel. You would call 9-1-1 to; Save a life Put out a fire Stop a crime

  • You can come to the Police department during regular business hours (8a-5p Monday – Friday excluding holidays) and complete a records request form at the window. You may also download a open record form.

  • Crash reports may be obtained at the Early Police Department during business hours (8a-5p Monday – Friday excluding holidays). The cost is $6.00.

  • Local background check are the only background checks performed by the Early Police Department. You must present your current valid ID.

  • Yes. The Early Police Department is available for ink fingerprints during regular business hours.

    Monday-Tuesday: 8am-10:30am / 1pm–2:30

    Thursday-Friday: 8am-10:30am / 1pm–2:30

     The cost is $10 for 4 cards. $3.00 per additional card.

  • You will need to stop by City Hall at 960 Early Blvd. to fill out a water service agreement and pay your deposit.

  • Yes, because of our automated meter reading system we are able to provide you with daily water consumption and if a leak is indicated or possible. Please contact City Hall at (325) 643-5451 for more details.

  • No. You will need to have the brush at the curb and call City Hall at 325-643-5451 to schedule a pick up. The pieces will need to be no longer than 5 feet in length and be able to pick up by hand. If you used a commercial tree trimming service, they are responsible for the haul off. This is intended to be a service for home owners to have a way to dispose of limps and brush they cut themselves.
