Welcome

The Early Police Department is proud to serve a dynamic, growing community in Central Texas. Our City is part of a rapidly growing commercial area with some of the most desirable residential neighborhoods in the area. Early is also characterized by an outstanding school district. Our location in Central Texas provides prime hunting, fishing and camping areas, accented by Lake Brownwood, along with several major highways. All of this coming together in Early creates a top desired location to raise a family, live, retire to a quiet area to relax, and enjoy life all within two hours of a larger city, in any direction. 

The Early Police Department consists of a diverse group of outstanding people who provide police service to this wonderful community. The men and women of the department are dedicated professionals who are committed to the philosophy of community policing while striving to build partnerships in all facets of the city. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life to the citizens while having a proactive approach to problem solving, and a shared responsibility with the public. Our primary concern is the protection of our citizens, visitors and merchants. Each member of the police department is continuously challenged to maintain high levels of professionalism and integrity towards all we serve. I invite you, our community members, to provide both positive and negative feedback on how well we are serving the City of Early.
