Our City Secretary, Brenda Kilgo, wears many hats however, her main responsibilities include, payroll, record keeping, paying the city's bills and agenda management for City Council meetings and Early MDD meetings. Fiscal Year
The City of Early operates with a fiscal year of October 1 to September 30.

Fiscal Budget


Fiscal Year 2025/2026

The city's fiscal budget is compiled by city officials, and is reviewed and approved by the City Council.

City Administrator Tony Aaron recently completed and published the 2025-2026 fiscal budget. The budget was presented to City Council and was approved.

Comprehensive Financial Management Policy

The City of Early has had a prudent and formal policy in place governing the investment and management of the City's funds and financial resources.


Annual Audit


An audit of the city's finances is performed annually by an outside certified public accounting (CPA) firm.
